my 19 month old has been vomiting since saturday. totally random times e.g. 11pm one time, 5am the next, 11am the next. big gaps in between aswell as in i thought she was over it as hadn’t vomited for about 48 hours but has just done it again half an hour ago. any ideas of what this could be please? she hasn’t been herself as in napping way more, quieter, etc etc. thought she was better today as she seemed happy and even took her swimming. really confused

Get her seen. Very important.

My three year old was like this last week. Random episodes of sickness, no diarrhoea or temperature. Huge gaps between sickness so I thought she was over it then it started again. Had the same thing approx a year ago. I didn’t get her seen either time! Though perhaps I was a bit negligent 🤷‍♀️

yeah same here no temp and constipated nevermind diarrhoea. so strange isn’t it i’m convinced it’s an allergy but maybe not

I’d get her seen, just to be on the safe side. It’s probably viral, and it will probably pass soon, but a doctor should rule other possibilities out and should check for dehydration.

We had the same thing with our 21mo the other week. Random vomiting over the course of a week, long gaps of a day or two in between. Constipated too (was before the vomiting started so don’t think it was caused by being dehydrated by vomiting). She didn’t seem unwell otherwise though. I took her to the GP who wasn’t worried and just said to keep an eye on it. No further issues after that. Seems like just a weird bug in our case. Or I’ve read constipation can actually cause vomiting?! But definitely get her checked for your peace of mind
