Hi all, my now 4 month old DD has had a cough from since she was at least 10 weeks old!

I took her to the GP about this same cough 5 weeks ago- they listened to her chest and all sounded normal they said, so no action was taken.

Past 2 weeks it has gotten worse. It doesn't sound like she is struggling to breathe and she is not inhaling at her ribs. I have also noticed she is slightly congested, a humidifier is working for us. But the cough has gotten worse. She will cough once or twice and then stop, also she is gagging slightly after. Anyone know what this could be or should I take her to the GP again?

It could be post nasal drip?

Or cough variant asthma I'd ask the GP if you could try an inhaler.

I'd go back to the GP. It's a long time with no improvement and then worsening symptoms.

Calpol plug in in short term but I'd second going back to GP as well x
