threadbare bambineos

Is it normal that after 5 months of pretty light use they should be looking pretty ratty and threadbare in places? A couple of them look like an old teddy bear missing it´s pile!

I wash them at 40, no bleach, no napisan, gentle non bio soap in little quantity etc etc etc.

I don't think they should be looking threadbare, but then, I do expect things to last!

yeah me too! am very I´ve moaned about my bambineos on here before and they are already right at the bottom of the pile of nappies I use. In fact I probably use them maybe about twice a month? And now I feel like I couldn´t even justify selling them on.

Is anyone else experiencing this though or is it just me/ bad luck?

I haven't had much experience of long term bambineo use but I used a couple of rainbow bamboozles for a short while. When I bought them new they looked like they had been attacked by a pitt bull and after a few washes they seemed very threadbare (same treatment as you give your bambineos) - I'm sure it was more noticeable because of the colour. They were OK, but I didn't see why people made such a fuss about them . My size 1 bamboozles are totally different though - they look like a poodle .

I know there are different types of bamboo fabric being used in nappies - maybe my bamboozle and your bambineos are the same type.

Have you thought about contacting your bambineo supplier and complaining?
