If my baby had HFM then gave it to my husband, could she catch it again from him? Or would it need to be a separate strain of the virus for this to happen?

Not sure about that one but as long as your DH is scrupulous with washing hands, keeping towels separate etc she should be fine.

My LO had it around 9m but never again

It's a very harmless virus. Nothing to worry about

I remember the doctor saying it's highly unusual for an adult to get it. She had never heard of aj adult case as i asked if i would catch it

Adults can and do get it! I know 3 mums in my baby group alone that caught it when their child had it. Even the NHS say adults can get it.

Your child can get it more than once, but I imagine if they've recently recovered then it'll be more unlikely.
