Stopped sleeping through

My baby slept through the night from around 11 weeks old. She’s now 5 and a half months and for the past 3 or 4 weeks has started waking at 4am ish for a feed, she finishes a whole 7oz bottle so is clearly hungry and then goes back to sleep immediately.

I know this isn’t the worst thing in the world but i’m genuinely wondering why she’s stopped sleeping through? I’ve tried feeding her more just before bed and she doesn’t want it.

Growth spurts, developing and changing- childrens sleep isn’t linear.

Pretty common for babies to go through spells of sleeping through, spells of not, etc. As PP said, sleep isn't linear so it's not like once they sleep through that's it forever sadly!

DD, now 10 months, had started sleeping long stretches at 6ish months. Her longest was 5 hours, and I was happy. We even made a huge life changing move across countries, and it didn't impact her sleep. In fact she was the only one of us who didn't even have proper jet lag. At 9 months her top two teeth starting showing up in the gums. Let's just say I haven't slept since 🤦‍♀️

Babies like to trick you into thinking theyre amazing sleepers for a few months. Enough for you to feel almost smug when people ask about their sleep and you can proudly announce that they sleep through.
Then they throw a curve ball and wake several times for absolutely no reason.
Could be growth or developmental spurt.
Could be teeth.
Could be hunger.
Could be absolutely nothing.
Its quite normal.
My DD has always been a good sleeper (once the silent reflux was controlled). Every so often she will have an absolutely horrendous week or 2 where she wakes frequently and not settle.
Its normally teeth to be fair so we give Anbesol before bed just in case.

It'll just be a phase. DD slept from 7-7 from 6 months. We thought we'd hit the jackpot!

Then the day she turned 10 months it all turned upside down, and now at 16 months she's just started sleeping through again.

My children have both started sleeping through about half a dozen times. Followed by stopping sleeping through.

My eldest did 8 hour stretches at 3m. I thought sleep was sorted forever. She doesn't do 8 hour stretches now at 5 (though did a stint of nearly a a year doing the full 12 hours, before stopping again).

It's just what they do in the first few years. One quick milk and back to bed sounds amazing tbh, even if it's not as good as you are used to.
