LO ate a piece of baby wipe

I was changing her diaper and she managed to grab a wipe and chew a piece of it off and swallowed it. I immediately called DH as my hands were dirty, but within a second she had eaten it. Checked online poison control triage with the exact product details. No significant toxicity is mentioned. She has now gone to bed after nursing. Woke up once and nursed back to sleep. I'm a FTM and a big worrier. I know i will be checking every single poo she does now.

She is at that stage where she finds things off the floor and tries to eat them. She wants to explore so crawls around and wants to go under tables and tries to pull herself up with support of anything around her. Even flat doors that have no support to provide! I'm hovering around her all the time, but now she's getting so fast at doing these things it's freaking me out. Any words of support or advice would help.

She’ll be fine. Why would your baby be the first to do this?
Go to sleep - you’ll need it!

@Yayyayitsaholiholiday please tell me if I am supposed to check every single poo for it? It was a small piece and I think I'll have to really dig into the poo to be able to find it unless it's stuck on the outside. I mean wipes come with a do not flush warning. So it'll just come out the other end, right?

If digging into every poo will bring you joy, do it. If not, it serves no purpose……

If she’d swallowed an entire wipe, I’d check it came out.
Less than that, not a chance!

What will you do if you never find it in her poo? I don't think you need to give this a 2nd thought. It will either disintegrate in the stomach acid or it'll works it way out. Nothing to worry about.

@TheRookie thank you for the reassurance

If you're this worried about something so minor, parenting is going to be extremely stressful for you. Please seek some help.

Of course you're worried - being a FTM is scary! I and a post literally the other day on something some would say is trivial. People kindly commented and It reassured me.

Im sorry but the PP is not helpful. You just care about your baby and wanted to ask an open forum their experience and if they think it would be ok. I dont know why people feel they need to take the time to comment something negative that will probably make you feel worse.

Just scroll on by it OP
