Toddler swimming

Hello, a very simple question but I was wondering if anyone takes their toddler swimming (2/3 year olds) what does your child wear? My daughter can't swim yet, we did swimming lessons for a while but had to stop as couldn't afford it but we still go to pool occasionally. Does your toddler wear armbands or a flotation vest?

Sometimes vest, sometimes arm bands with ring as well.

The vest is better

Used the noodles and floats in the pool.

We only used a pool noodle. Both dc could swim confidently by age 4.

We use the noodles in the pool, or she holds on to me.

Armbands or a pool noodle. I tried the float vests put they just end up around her neck.

Okay will give the noodles a go next time and see how she gets on, thanks everyone for responses

We just use armbands, she floats around up right - may try a noodle now seeing all these pots though! But the armbands have been good at giving her some confidence and independence in the pool.
