Ds will be 3 in April and thought he was never going to start using toilet/potty but we have had a breakthrough this week!
We have had no nappies on since Wed (apart from bedtime)Wed 3 accidents but he was asking for the toilet. Thurs he has playgroup so i put a pull up on him to walk down and then changed him into pants and shorts when we got there to make it easier for him. Asked for the toilet but had dribbled by the time he got there. Fri asked and went to the toilet no bother at playgroup. Sat had a little no2 accident after playing upstairs. Today we went bowling and to the cinema so we put a pull up on him for in the car. He asked all day for the toilet and only had one wee dribble when we didn't get to the toilet in time!
I'm so proud of him thought he was going to be going to nursery in nappies!
Only problem is he has to have his padded toilet seat because he is scared he will fall in the toilet cos he is so wee lol. So the padded toilet seat will have to go everywhere with us for now!

Well done!
We did ds1 very sucessfully last May at 2.5yo. But ds2..... I suspect will be another matter entirely and I'll be begging for help from mumsnetters when he's 5...
