My 11 month old not getting enough sleep

He sleeps roughly between 6:30pm till 6:00am, although up every couple of hours but soothed back fairly quickly (within fifteen minutes or so) by breast feeding.
Then in the day he naps for about an hour and ten minutes at 11am-ish.
Books say he should be napping twice a day and sleeping through. He seems fairly happy but gets quite ratty from 4pm as I guess he is really tired but when I try and get him to nap at about 3 o’clock he won’t sleep. Should I be worried or is this adequate enough sleep?

He won't have read the books and sleeping through doesn't happen for every baby at set ages. Think my little one used to do a 40 min nap in the morning around 9 ish and a lunchtime one about 1 ish for 2 hours max. She was always up by 3 and bed at 7. She didn't sleep through with no wakes until she was over 1. Try not to be rigid with the books every baby is different

They generally drop to one nap about age one anyway so you're not too far off, it's just you'd normally be looking for a 2 hour-ish nap at lunchtime. Have you tried moving bedtime back? DS has a 7.30 bedtime and usually goes through to 6.30/6.45am with a nap at about 12.30 after he's had lunch.
