Did you go back full time after maternity doing compressed hours?

If so how did it work out for you?

im debating between going back to work doing 7.5 hours five days a week which means I’ll have more of an evening, or 9.5 and work four days a week so I’ll get a whole day with my DD but I won’t see her much after work…

It is frustrating that places can't accommodate it, I'm a big fan of job shares with 2 people doing 0.6 but I appreciate that's expensive and hard to recruit. I'm now tied into this pattern at my current work place and it will be hard to increase without applying for promotion so it feels like a risk but yes significant lift shift for me already.
