Hi all,

My DD is 24 months and can say upwards of 120 words and is putting some together, you ok mama? High five, what’s that?, I/me see, mama sit, see you soon etc. Yesterday she said Daddy where you going? All really coming along, but she still talks lots of gibberish. Doesn’t stop talking really but rambles on in this gibberish language. Just wondering if this is normal for this age? She’s my first so I have no idea.

My DD will be 2 in 8 weeks and we probably only have a handful of single 'words'.My nephew is almost 2 and a half and only now starting to string words together. They all develop different and although I am no expert as DD is my first too, Id say your little one is doing fantastically and you have nothing to worry about.
