Help!! Is this baby acne?!

Hey Mamas,

My 4 weeks old baby started getting this rash a week ago. It started mild and has got progressively worse... this is a pic from today.

Would be grateful to hear what you think it might be, if you have any experience of having a child with similar and if so, how long did it last?

And do you know of any treatment?

Yes it is. If you are breastfeeding just rub a little breast milk into it and it will clear up within a couple of days. Otherwise, just wipe frequently with water and cotton wool and it shouldn’t last longer than a few weeks

Also congratulations on your new baby. Unfortunately with baby acne/cradle cap they can go through an ‘unfortunate’ stage at this age but it soon passes :)
