Twins not sleeping. HELP ME!

I’ll keep this short! My 10 week old twins have all of a sudden decided they don’t sleep anymore in the day time. Ill focus on my dd as she’s the main culprit. So I’ll begin by saying for her age im happy with how she sleeps at night. She has just started to sleep from 10pm (and not a minute earlier!) through until 6 am. I have no complaints. That’s fab for her age. She will doze off and on from 6 until 10am while having bits of her bottle. However from 10am she has maybe 2 15 min naps in the next 12 hours. Now Am I asking too much as she sleeps in the night? Or should she be sleeping far more? She is so cranky from tiredness but just won’t sleep. I’ve tried complete silence, low music, swaddling, reading to her, holding her, rocking, white noise, nothing gets her to sleep in the day anymore. Does anyone have any advice? It wouldn’t be too bad if there was only one babs but there are 2 and it’s draining!

Didn't want to read and run op, but I've always wondered how people do it with twins. My 1 11week old is too much sometimes! Are you putting her down? Mine won't sleep if I put her down. I have to carry her in the sling while she sleeps. I'm not sure how you carry twins in a sling!

My twins are teens now but I remember this! Hang in there, sleep will settle down again. Though you have had some great chunks of sleep so far! We didn’t get 10pm to 6am till they were about 18 months!

My kids only napped on me in a carrier or in the stroller until I did sleep training at 6 months. Exhausting....... Can't imagine with twins!!

One thing that would guarantee a nap for my twins at that age would be a walk in the pram, even when I didn’t want them to! Not an ideal solution for this time of year but if you have a hallway maybe you could put over a snoozeshade and rock until they’re asleep. Are they in the same cot? If they’re in separate cots are they right next to each other so they can see their sibling? I know it sounds early but are there any signs of teething? Or is the room dark enough?

Forgot to add, with the white noise I would try experimenting with the different types of white noise and volume. One of my twins didn’t like the womb/heartbeat sounds but did like the more traditional white noise (called blue / pink noise etc), and I did have to turn it up louder than I thought I would have to for a young baby

@CycleGirl20 i always wondered too! It is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But you just push yourself! You have no choice!

@GreenLeavesRustling i know. I had braced myself for a year of just 3 hour chunks! And my son is stretching to 5 hours now at night but he loves his food way too much to go any longer just yet!

@Bean18 a walk always knocks her out! But sometimes I’d just love an hour in the day to watch a bit of rubbish tv! I will try the white noise thing defo. I only have it on low so I’ll try a little louder. Thank you.

My twins would only nap in my arms at that age. I’d lie in bed with one in each arm and watch tv. It’s all a bit of a blur to be honest. They didn’t much like sleeping at night either.

Theyre five now and sleep beautifully. They did give up on daytime naps ridiculously early though, before 18m I think.

good luck, you’ll make it through in the end x

@SummerBummers twins are so hard! Twice the love but also twice the work. But it’s already getting a tad easier so that really helps.
