I have DC 3 and DC1. They are both due to have birthdays soon and we're planning parties for them at home.
Due to covid neither have had proper birthday parties yet. We've been to a couple recently but they were both at soft plays.
I remember parties at home as a child. Party games and party food, bit of music and we were all happy. What's the expectations these days? Probably but cold/ wet to use the garden. I think we'll do party games in the living room and then can do the food in the conservatory (can set it up away from the children and if we need to just shut the door after food and tidy when they've all gone home).
So is there a formula/ advice/ way it's done? The 4th birthday will be first then a few weeks later the 2nd birthday party.
