Cheaper toy alternatives

Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives to yoto players and play doh?

There's lots of own brand "play doh" in b&m, Asda, home bargains, etc

Poundstretchers is full of unbranded play doh. And everything else. Barbies, ponies, legos, imaginex type stuff, outdoor toys etc

Playdoh is really cheap to make and takes 10 minutes. I like the imagination tree website recipe.
