Ds (nearly 4) is wetting himself

He's been toilet trained for ages but over the last week or so he has been wetting himself, despite me reminding him to go the the toilet. And once he goes to the toilet he has been weeing on the floor (and not telling me).

I'm trying not get too annoyed with him, but it's difficult.

Is it normal to regress? (dd never did, so this is new to me)

Has he had any changes, or got any worries at the moment? That is usually the cause for regression.

mines been doing it too. so i guess its not abnormal.

last time he had a spate of wettings we tried ignoring for a bit (wordlessly changing him etc) and it seemed to work. i think mine does it for attention. and sometimes laziness, and not wanting to stop what hes doing.

ds1 never did it either.

Hmmm. Ds has just been for a wee and I sneaked up behind him - and saw him deliberately weeing on the floor for a couple of seconds with a little grin on his face.

I think you are right Snappylagore. Dh also said it's very tempting to use your willy like that - but has spoken to him about it now.

He doesn't seem to have any particular worries atm, no changes etc.
