Eczema or rash or cow milk allergy

Does anyone have any experience with this? What are they and any solutions?

Is it just on that side of baby’s face? My DD used to get that if she’d been in the sling too long and I figured it was heat. Doesn’t look like eczema in my experience. How DC? Feeding well?

Both my kids have cmpa and I have only rarely noticed an accompanying rash. That being said both are breastfed so was through breast milk rather than formula. How is DC being exposed to dairy? How is digestion and demeanour otherwise? My DC both screechy cry and have digestive upset when I consume dairy and they are exposed (even just a little bit). Symptoms usually kick in next day or two rather than straight away.

So theirs is a non-ige reaction. Ige (anaphylactic) reaction would usually have accompanying breathing difficulty.

How old is DC? Could it be newborn acne or just a mild reaction to soap/ fabric softener/ perfume etc?

Baby acne

I think baby acne too.

My 4 month old had similar from about 6 to 8 weeks - baby acne.
He has a nasty bout of eczema now but that definitely looks like baby acne to me.

I have no experience with CMPA but thinking he had it and a specialist said (as PP has said) a rash really wouldn't be the only symptom - and he didn't see a rash at all in a lot of cases.
