Birthday party ideas

Hello.

Really struggling for ideas of birthday party activities in south east London/central London that aren’t the regular air thrill or 02 jump. Anyone got any brilliant ideas? Is there an aqua splash thing anywhere? Was trying to find one but the better website is hard to navigate!

What age?
What budget?

Sorry - 8 years old and I’ll take as cheap as possible, but it needs to be an activity some where rather than an entertainer and venue. Feels like all party packages are a min of £250 anyway

Possibly too far east for you but There’s an aqua bounce (called aqua action maybe?) thing in Fairlop Waters, not far from Fairlop tube station on the east end of the central line.

Depending on how far you’re willing to go there’s Kidspace in Romford which has laser tag, climbing walls, go karts and softplay.

Thankyou. Will check them out but suspect they might be a bit far.

Not going to lie, mine have been to lots of airthrill parties but they do enjoy them. But also bowling at Lewisham lanes and clip n climb at sutcliffe park leisure centre. Depending what you’re daughter is into and budget I’ve also seen a spa bus that comes to your house and looks fun. Maybe sounds a bit twee but at a similar age we did cookie decorating at home which her friends all really loved, plus a pass the parcel with some more better than average presents in it that my dd chose specially for each of her friends (had to make sure we got each layer to the right person!). She’s also been to quite a few pizza express parties. Also Lego robotics ones, bit pricier though.

Sorry, I forgot but maybe stating the obvious, there are loads of great party entertainers in se London who work to any theme, if you have the space to host at home they can come to you, you don’t always have to hire a venue.

Yeah we just don’t quite have enough room for that now they are all so big! Will Google Lego robotics though - that’s right up his street!
