Meningitis scare

Awaiting a GP callback but driving myself mad with worry. My 4 month old has this on her foot. It doesn’t fade under a glass. She’s fine in herself.

I can’t work out it it’s a rash or tiny cuts from her nails as she’s very recently started grabbing this foot constantly. Terrified that it’s meningitis now 🤦🏻‍♀️

How is she within her self? Does the rash fade when pressed with a glass? Is she excessively sleepy? Dislike of lights?

My DGD had meningitis B as a baby. She was limp and grey and covered in a rash. If your DC is well, there's nothing to worry about.

Nope she’s absolutely fine! Bit of a stuffy nose the past week but we’ve all had it and she’s eating/sleeping/toileting normally

Looks like she’s had dry skin and eczema and scratched it. Use a good emollient like cetraben or zerobase on her skin.
