Fussy baby!

So baby is 5 months and for the most part is just gorgeous but the last few days she has been so fussy.

If I had to use one word it'd be, cantankerous. She has started a kind of moaning that isn't crying just a constant whining. Feels like we can't do anything right, if we put her down she whines, tummy time- whines a lot, pick her up briefly stops then whines again, play with her - whines, leave her be - starts to cry.

She is well fed and well rested, it's never a dirty or full nappy, she is teething. But I feel like a useless parent as I can't figure it out. 3 days in a row now and I'm exhausted and just completely disheartened, feels like she doesn't like me or is looking at me like I'm useless.

Going outside and baths relax her and provide a reprieve but the whining starts as soon as she is out of the pram or bath. But we have to do lots of tummy time, as she had torticollis when born and has moderate flat head.

Any recommendations? Tips? Suggestions?

Hope?

Hi OP @MatronicO6 just come across your post now as going through very similar with my 5 month old! I could’ve written this post. Did it get any better for you? Hope you are doing well now. Thanks.
