My husband and I have recently separated. We are sharing custody of our DD through and informal separation agreement for the time being. His nights he comes to visit her and do bed and bath were agreed as Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. She's 4 months old so she won't be doing overnights at his for a while which he agrees with. These past two weeks he has missed one Tuesday and two Thursdays due to working late. I find this unacceptable as he is in a job where he can make his apologies and leave in time to see DD and finish the job the following day or days. My MIL is now defending him saying work takes precedence but I totally disagree and say if those are his days he needs to agree that with work. I'm just glad my daughter is too young to understand all this and I worry when she is older she will be continually let down when she thinks she's going to dad's house but work takes priority. Help!
