Retuning to work PT in a few weeks and the thought of leaving my baby (10 months) is killing me! Does it get easier 😢

I found the build up to going back much worse than actually being back! After the first few weeks once I got used to the new routine and drop offs at nursery it was actually nice to have a bit of quiet time to myself again on my commute and at lunch. Good luck x

I agree with @Newmum397 , the thought of going back is much worse than the reality

Ah I remember feeling like this. But,it really does get easier. It is tough but it really will get better.

Agree the build up is the worst bit.

The first day I walked out the house without I filled up.
I now treat work days as my break 😅

As above. I was dreading it and delayed it as long as I could.

Now I look forward to dropping her at Nursery and having 4 days of hot coffees, adult conversation and going to the loo alone!

she does much more enriching activities at nursery than being at home with me, so it's healthy for both of us.
