Indoor ideas for entertaining my wild toddler

I have a wild just turned 2 year old who watches far too much Julia Donaldson adaptations on iPlayer than I would like. He's not really into toys as such, prefers waddling around destroying my house - can I have some engaging indoor activity ideas that will mean I can actually look at my 2 month old more than once in a blue moon? I saw an idea of getting them to wash their toy pots and pans in the sink - that sort of vibe. He's not into drawing or playdough or any of the 'traditonal' activities, or messy play!

Colouring pens and paper? Draw round him on a big sheet of paper and get him to decorate himself? Can you get a chalkboard easel?

Whatabout little craft items like pom poms or those little jewels - baker Ross has endless supplies

My 2 year old is obsessed with filling containers and emptying them back out again, macaroni pasta and yoghurt pots in a tray kept him and my 1 year old entertained for ages.

Mine loved lightweight ten pin bowling games. Either plastic bottles or the real children’s toy bowling pins. He lost interest in bowling with the ball almost instantly but seeing how many he could knock over by running through them keep him amused and active for hours through lockdown.

And our other go to, depending on how particular you are about the house, was pulling the big cushions off the back of the settee and letting him jump off onto them. But that was lockdown. I’d have done anything at that point, to be fair.

We tried paints today, lasted all of two minutes before he ran off...I've bought some pompoms to try where you drop them through a toilet roll when I've recovered from this morning's tantrums! This afternoon were going to tape some leaves to a crown in the park, let's see how long that lasts!
