It’s my DDs birthday next month, 9th birthday. I want to do something special with her for the day but I’m just so stuck on ideas. I thought about London for the day but the trains are so unpredictable currently and it would be a 5 hour drive for us. (We’re in the north west) I don’t mind travelling for a few hours but 5 would be too long in the car. I just want something different, not something we would usually do throughout the year like zoo or bowling ect. Is there anything anybody could think of? Any places where DD could be pampered maybe or be a princess for the day? Or something fun but different. Please throw some suggestions at me as I’m really struggling to think of anything.

Have a look at some local salons, ones in my area have a pamper appointment for kids, hair done, nails etc

At nine surely she doesn’t want to be travelling for hours? Why does it have to be so especially “special”?

Chill factore is fun for that age. You can get a snow pass to play on toboggans, luge etc.

For my DC 9th birthdays, one had a pop star dvd making thing followed by a trip in a very bargainous limo. The other had a Harry Potter house party.
