Just that really.

Nope

Bigbouncingbaby · 01/10/2022 18:40

Nope fairly average but not small

Sonnex · 01/10/2022 18:40

No I'd clas it as very average, mine are all about 2.10-3.1 apart as that's what you get when you try for another once the one before is walking/coming out of nappies so out of baby stage into toddlerdom. I could never contemplate it until I knew wouldn't have 2 in nappies 😁.

No, pretty average gap really. Mine are 3 years apart which was more than many of my friends.

trying29 · 01/10/2022 18:41

Nope. I have that between my two. Whereas there is 16 months between me and my brother. That’s quite a small gap I think

Hoolahulahoop · 01/10/2022 18:41

No. I would class one year in difference to 18 months as a small age gap

Cakeandslippers · 01/10/2022 18:42

Not small, average I'd say.

I have an 18 month gap which I would consider small because you pretty much have 2 babies. I think over 2 years isn't really small but I suppose it's personal as some might see it as a small gap.

PuttingDownRoots · 01/10/2022 18:43

Under 2 years... small
2-4 years average
4+ years big

CasaDelSoot · 01/10/2022 18:43

Yep agree with others, average. Anything up to 18 months is small gap

HazeyjaneIII · 01/10/2022 18:44

I'd say average...
I have a 13 month gap between dd1 and 2 (small) and a 3 year gap between dd2 and ds (average)

MinervaTerrathorn · 01/10/2022 18:47

I'd consider two to five years a normal age gap, not large or small

Hellocatshome · 01/10/2022 18:47

No. I think 2 to 3 years is about average. Less than 12 months is a small age gap.

OldTinHat · 01/10/2022 18:48

Average.

18m between mine but I don't consider that particularly small either.

CottonSock · 01/10/2022 18:48

No. I had 3 year gap and it was longer than a lot of friends

PuttingDownRoots · 01/10/2022 18:43

Under 2 years... small
2-4 years average
4+ years big

This

kitcat15 · 01/10/2022 18:49

Completely average…..I had 2 years 1 months between my first 2 …..2 to 2.5 years is about the norm around these parts

boogiejive · 01/10/2022 18:49

Nope. The gap between mine is 2yrs 2m and now they're out of the toddler stage that's not a small gap either.

YumYummy · 01/10/2022 18:49

Average.

FrankTheThunderbird · 01/10/2022 18:53

Perfectly normal imo.
I'd call anything under 2 years a small gap.

Miniforce · 01/10/2022 18:54

Average. Most people I know with two kids have 2-4 years between them.

MolliciousIntent · 01/10/2022 18:54

Nope. Mine are 2yr 3m apart and that's not a small gap. Anything under 18m is a small gap, imo. Basically, if you were pregnant more than once in 9m, it's a small gap.

RandomUsernameHere · 01/10/2022 18:58

No, 2 years seems average to me so I definitely wouldn't say nearly 3 years is a small gap

SheWoreYellow · 01/10/2022 19:03

Two years is the ‘norm’ here, so no not at all.

I guess it’s varies depending on who you talk to though. Didn’t I read on here ages ago that I think in Russia a seven year gap is usual?

MagnaQuestion · 01/10/2022 19:05

Perfect age gap! Much better than 18m/2yr

Wouldn't say it was small!

QueensEyot · 01/10/2022 19:05

I would say it's average. My DC are 23 months apart and I don't consider that to be a small gap.
