Swollen breasts in my baby

My baby has swollen breasts which I took her to the GP for and they said this is common. She has some milk leaking too.
The next day one of the breasts turned red looking like it could perhaps be an infection.
So I took her to the GP again and was prescribed some antibiotics which I am reluctant to give. She is only 11 days old. Reason being, she seems well within herself - is feeding normally and no temperature. Can somebody help/advise? Thanks

I really think you should take your baby to hospital to be reviewed by a paediatrician. As a PP said, there’s looks to be some mottling and it may turn out that IV antibiotics would be required rather than oral.
Babies can’t communicate, please don’t assume they’re ok because they appear to be.

Are you insane? Give the antibiotics or risk your baby dying of sepsis ? Take the baby to a&e if you don’t believe the docter -maybe they’ll give IV ones? You should of asked for a second opinion anyway if that’s how you feel.
