Baby stains

Looking for some advice as little one is eating and some of his favourite meals include tomato. Any ideas how to get out old orange/tomato stains from clothes that have already been washed? Old stains that have set in. I’ve tried stain remover, washing up liquid and washing detergent and none have worked they are still visable. I know sunshine usually works a treat but it’s cold and wet and no sunshine lately. Any help would be appreciated 😊

I have no answer to this but I had the same problem and I recently invested in some bibs called BIBADO and they are LIFECHANGING!!!!

Every single meal time now results in a clean baby and no stained clothes!

They're 3 for £40 but they are so so worth it. Although they currently have Halloween designs in the sale for a tenner so you could always just get one of those.

Have you tried napisan? I feel like I work for them I mention it so much haha! It's saved SO many of LO's clothes! I presoak the bad ones and then wash with a scoop and honestly it's amazing!

If for any reason this hasnt done it, I have been told to pop on a coat hanger and leave in sunlight (boggled my brain but it works!)

Bibado bibs are good at first but the velcro wears out quickly and they don't stay done up. Very annoying for the price.
OP, soaking in biological powder, then washing on a longer programme gets rid of all tomatoe stains for me.

Another vote for sunshine , although there’s not much about today!

If they are white you can bleach them with Milton. I don’t know if it would ruin colours, never tried.

Sunshine - even if you can't get things out on the line, next to a window should help.

The Bibado bibs are really good as they cover everything...
BUT
I gave DD spaghetti and meatballs in a tomato sauce and somehow it soaked through the bib and stained the front of her top?
The bib is also now orange despite it being cleaned immediately.
I dont think that is supposed to happen so maybe I have been unlucky?
Otherwise they are pretty good.
