Weaning 6 month old.. confused over food/milk ratio??

Hi all, my 6 month old daughter has been weaned on purees since about 5 months. It has come to my attention that I am perhaps still giving her too much formula per day (about 4 bottles in 24 hours - total 1000ml per day) and then at meal times she has small bits of veg/fruit/carbs etc. But I feel that she only has small bits because she simply isn’t hungry enough.

What I would love to know is an example food diary of what I should be giving her food wise each day including formula? I don’t want her to be hungry if I drop too much formula.

thanks!

At 6m she should still be getting almost all her nutrition from milk. Give her just as many bottles as you would normally, leave an hour after a bottle before solids, and you might find the quantity starts to decrease in the next few months.

I wouldn't worry about dropping too much milk at this point. Just continue to offer solids and let her appetite be your guide. For the next several months she'll still be getting like 90% or more of nutrition from formula

Weaning is about learning to eat, chew, swallow not filling them up. At that age they should still have the normal amount of milk
