Best wraps for a newborn?

Which are the best nappy wraps in your opinion for a newborn baby ?

depends on what it is going to go over - I look the idea of the newborn sized ones that have the cut out for the umbilical cord (as I ended up cutting a huge chunk out of my rubbish disposables last time I had a newborn in nappies.

proraps were my favourite as they had the cord cut out and were bomb proof.

Is having the cut out for the cord that big a deal though? I used the xsmall rikkis on both my DS' from day 1 without any problems - I don't remember having any problems with them rubbing.

ME airflow most definately. Used on DD2 from day one with no probs.

Newborn were huge on the legs of my DS - I found I had to go and change all of my newborn wraps for rikki so that they fit.

Bambinex wraps have much softer bindings if you are worried about it being against the cord.
