I know you guys will empathise here. The power went out last night- looks like a fault on one of the plugs somewhere. So we have lights and no plugs.

Cue my autistic boy, nealry six, having
a meltdown as the computer wasn't available. Him soothed then it's bed time. He's highly anxious about the power being out and starts complaining of stomach ache.

Then the vomiting starts! He has a tummy bug. He finds pain very distressing. Laying on the floor in a crying mess. My poor baby.

So now we have loads of washing in the bath waiting. No washing machine and no computer.

This morning...
a super distressed autistic boy because he's staaaaaarving and there's still no computer.

Oh dear! On a practical side, unplug everything from the sockets and you might be able to reset the trip switch, even if things are switched off they can still trip the switch.

The fault appeared to be moving around to different plugs and randomly tripping. So no washing machine yet. I've left dh with the sick child and have taken my youngest to a birthday party. Now hiding in a coffee shop.

Gut feeling is it may be the pond that's tripping everything

Still at the coffee shop??

how long can your pond fish survive without the pump?

an electrician tomorrow will be less expensive tomorrow. Hopefully one can fit you in!

Ha I wish I was still at the coffee shop. I had to collect ds2 from the party.

Thankfully we have no fish. I think we will just fill the pond in now.

What a weekend
