Leap 4/Sleep Regression

My little girl is 4mo and has slept through the night since about 11 weeks. This week she’s been waking up at about 3am absolutely starving and drinking 7oz, she then immediately goes back to sleep.
I’ve read online that during the regression you shouldn’t always feed them when they wake up as it can encourage it to continue. But she’s only waking the once and is hungry enough to drink a full bottle so I surely can’t not feed her?

could this just be because she’s going through a growth spurt? I just want it to settle back down eventually

We gave a small 3oz bottle, slowly lowered to 2.5 then 2oz over a few weeks. That meant she got a little snack and went back to sleep, but still woke hungry enough for big morning bottle

Definitely keep feeding her the one time at 4 months. That's developmentally normal.

The 4 month sleep regression for us was going from 2 feeds a night to waking 6-8 times per night 😱😱 I think that's more what is being referred to when they say not to feed at every waking. Once a night is really appropriate.

This is why you should ignore everything online and just go with what your baby wants

if she’s hungry then of course you should feed her. Why wouldn’t you, just because something online says you shouldn’t?

I am feeding her as i’ve stated above, just wanted some advice. Perhaps try speaking to people with a little less attitude or just don’t comment at all

Yeah absolutely feed her. It's great that she's sleeping through so young: mine did too but not every night! I wouldn't worry about night weaning until at LEAST 6 months - I did it at 8, but only bevause I was sure baby didn't need milk
