I have a 3 year old (will be 4 in a few months). She isn’t the most messy child on the planet…but she is 3 and loves all things small world/role play, so the house is constantly littered with toys, especially as she loves to transfer them from place to place, mix and match sets etc!
She will tidy up with a bit of encouragement (and help!), and I tend to stop her getting anymore out until we’ve jointly tidied some away of it’s getting chaotic, but time seems to run out - particularly in the evenings pre bed - so I often end up doing the bulk/all of it.
Just wondering what your expectations tend to be for her age? Am I setting myself up for tidying battles later by not prioritising her doing more?!
