Baby not getting on with Kendamil?

Hi, my baby has been on Kendamil since a few days after birth. The first week or so was fine but recently she’s became increasingly gassy, unsettled and really badly constipated.

I tried her on their comfort formula for the last 36 hours and she’s been horrendous, although her constipation has eased her trapped wind is the worst it’s ever been, she spent almost all of yesterday crying in pain as if she had stomach ache or cramps. Poor thing, I’m reluctant to change because there’s a lot about Kendamil that I like, but could it be that she just doesn’t get on with this formula? I’m thinking about changing to Hipp. Has anybody else changed from Kendamil because their baby just didn’t get on with it? I feel like I only ever hear positive Kendamil stories so I’m confused!

Every baby is different so positive stories about a certain milks aren’t really relevant. My baby was on HIPP because cow and gate made her horrifically constipated , where as my friend moved from kendamil to cow and gate for the same reason.

I would change the milk and you should see a difference straight away. Also worth thinking about a potential CPMA

Are you using the organic one or the normal one?

We had a bit of this with our little one and we switched to the kendamil organic goat milk for awhile (5-9 weeks) we then went to a mix of both organic cow/goat (9 weeks-5 months) and then we started weaning and switched back to just cows.

I think he just found it too creamy when he was very little, but we wanted to add the cows milk back in as it's fattier.

Bloody expensive though!

Hi !! My 9 week old is on kendamil and I’m struggling with the fact that it isn’t working out because of all the great feedback from other moms stating that it’s so good. He has severe runny poos that are green and sticky and he vomits pretty much after every feed. He has so much gas as well and I can see he’s in a lot of discomfort:( I really wanted this to work because I like the ingredients but will have to go back to Aussie Bubs which is also great, I just was hoping kendamil would work out . Hope ur little one feels better !
