Mixed reception & year 1 class birthday party

My child has just started reception but is in a mixed class with year 1. They have separate break & dinner times so it's hard to know how much time she's spending with year 1. There are only 8 reception in her class. Would you still invite the whole class to their birthday party? I've no idea what party to do yet as can't work out how many there will be. We've not had any party invites yet but it's early days.

our kid’s birthdays are similar so they shared a party meaning in reception he only had about 8 of his friends for a joint trampoline party. It was a bad call, especially early in the school year as his friends ended up being s as very different group. Wish we’d hired a church hall and a bouncy castle and had them all.
