Cropped out of photo! Would you be upset?

So basically its what it says in the title! Mother in law took one of my photos off Facebook of me and my daughter and cropped me out of the photo & reposted. Would you be hurt by this or am I just over reacting? Like I feel like she clearly went through the trouble to edit the photo so I wasn't in it 😳

I don't think so. In the nicest way, she's just more interested in the baby than in you.

She just wanted to post a cute pic of her GD and have her be the focus of the post for ‘likes’, I’d be more bothered about if her account was private and who could see pictures of my child tbh.

Nah, she doesnt mean any harm. Its cos ur baby is cute :)

Now if she'd cropped you out, but left your partner in I'd be a bit more Hmm, but even that is just about ok.

Maybe she did it so you didn't think she was weird/inappropriate for sharing pictures of you to her friends

roarfeckingroarr · 19/09/2022 21:47

I would find this weird and rude.

I also think it's weird that she's just taken and reposted one of your photos - especially of your child. Did she ask first?

AKT · 20/09/2022 14:15

Thanks for your input everyone 😄
No she didn't ask if she could use the photos, I have brought this up in the past (due to the issue of not knowing what people would view the photos from her social media page) but I suppose she feels entitled to do it.

You can always set up a restricted post bit and activate it when you post photos if she can't behave herself and go back to normal for other stuff.
