Dear parents, here is a UK-wide study that aims to understand the role of your thoughts such as your attributions to adolescents' behaviour, your beliefs about their emotions, and your expectations for your adolescents in building adolescents' wellbeing and their ability to cope with stress. We are desired to know how our adolescents process thoughts regarding their emotions and behaviours and how this may influence their stress-coping ability. You and your child (aged between 11 to 16 years old) are more than welcome to participate in this study together!

To participate, you and your child will complete online questionnaires which shall take you no longer than 20 minutes, and your child will be invited to an online video call to answer questions about his/her wellbeing, which will take no more than 20 minutes as well. You and your child can go to the questionnaire by scanning the QR codes on the picture poster or click the link below:

When the study is completed, we will provide you with a free parenting workshop on tips for children with learning difficulties, children with behavior problems, and how your values about children's emotions may influence children's social skills. You will be contacted again 6 months later for a follow-up.

Your interests and your participation in this study are more than appreciated. Please feel free to contact Claire Tai ([email protected]) for any questions, or follow our tweeter: PA_Wellbeing.
