My 10 month old has white spots on her two bottom teeth (her only teeth so far, came through about 6 weeks ago).

does anyone know what these are?

sorry for bad picture, best I could get with a wriggly baby!

DS has this just one one baby tooth. The dentist wasn't concerned by it. I think she said the enamel had been affected by something when the tooth developed, but that the adult tooth won't be affected.

Thanks @BettyOBarley ! Is it very noticeable as your DS’s teeth have continued to grow?

Sorry, just seen this. I had a look to take a picture and actually it's not very noticeable now!
DS is 6. It's one of his lower canines (if that's the name!).

@Chillypepper hello, same concerned here
how they look now? Is that normal?
thank you

It's probably hypoplasia. Unfortunately it can (but not always) affect adult teeth too. Go to the dentist and ask them to check and make sure you use flouride regularly

Ds2 had this. Fortunately his adult teeth are all fine.
