Has anyone got these and can recommend/not recommend? 😊

We live in Scotland and spend a lot of time outdoors.

A friend had a pair & said they lasted well. We had a suit I now forget if it was wet Wednesdays or muddle puddles. Stripy all in one anyway. It came up big & is now in it’s probably fourth or fifth year of service & will probably be good enough to pass on as a reserve for someone.
I have in the past found lidls very good too (and cheap) taped seams & generously cut. Unfortunately they often don’t come out til mid October, so I try to buy a year up as well.

Yea I had tnem for my DC since they could walk. Waterproofing and longevity is excellent. Not warm though. Need fleece or similar underneath from October ish onwards (live south of London)

Yes excellent. I've worked at a school where the reception class had these. They were really good.

My DD1 went to an outdoor nursery and had these. Brilliant for keeping dry and easy to wash when covered in mud. Need lots of layer underneath.

DC had a pair of the waterproof dungarees, which I bought second hand.

They were very generously sized and lasted until passed on. On the wide side, the Lidl ones we had seemed quite a bit narrower in comparison. The clips were a bit tricky for little hands, not really a problem as just used to slip the whole strap off the shoulders instead of undoing them.

DN has had a Polarn o Pyret set which seemed very similar.

They are superb. I bought a set second hand for DS when he was 2, GeV wore them until he grew out of them - 18 months or so - then DD wore them for 18 months-2 years; then I gave them to a colleague and his two DC wore them.

The Lidl/Aldi ones are similar at a fraction of the price, but build quality and the generosity of cut not quite as good.

Thanks all 👍🏻 I actually had a pair arrive yesterday that are far too big but got them for £22 so just going to hang onto those for next year (or the next 😅 they’re huge!) and get the size down for now 😊
Just thought I’d check they were decent when in use before I stock up for years to come 🤣

That’s what I did, bought a pair in every size to age 8 when DS was 6 months
