Has anyone recently travelled to Lanzarote? Do you need to take a car seat to travel in a taxi from the airport to our accommodation? finding mixed answers online and would prefer to not have to take it 🙈

This is the current law in Spain - it's not really clear exactly what it means but I expect that it's explained a bit more in the actual regulation in Spanish.

It sounds like if you'll be travelling on motorways or major roads between towns then you'll need a car seat even in the taxi. If it's just within the town itself then you don't need one legally (but you may wish to consider taking one anyway, as taxis are no less likely to crash than ordinary cars).

Would you want your dc to travel without a car seat?

If you pre book the transfer they hopefully could organise a car seat.
