OK which book for putty training?

DS1 is 2 years and 2 months and I had no plans to potty train him before the summer. However, he now regularly (about 4 times a week) has a poo on his potty, and will tell me that he has had a poo, and will sometimes ask for a wee on potty and will do it without a fuss.

So is he ready do you think?

I have no book about it, which book would you recommend (or website) or should I just do the common sense method?? I have bought some Brightbots and he loves wearing them! Anything else I'd need?

Thanks!
BP xx

Hi the only one i have seen is gina ford, but you're further along than i am, ds can sit on his potty but does nothing in it yet!

the gina ford book gets mentioned on many forums, though its not all practical fo rme as i do not have 2 toilets just the one upstairs, so some info i have to change to suit me as her book says it must be followed to the letter.

your son sounds ready to progress
keep letting him know is doing good

my ds1 is 2 he tells me he has weed and poo and often takes his pull ups off, he is in pants for part of the day until he gets better at it

keep it up and goodluck
