Can I just turn up whenever at baby groups

Or is this not the etiquette?
I’m looking at the Autumn timetable for baby groups in my area on the local councils website.
Some say call to book some don’t.
For those that don’t, I’m assuming I can just turn up one day. Is that okay? If so, would it be rude if I turned up for the last half or does everyone go for the whole session?
My 6 month old is often napping at 9.15 when the class starts and it finishes at 11.15 so was thinking to go for the last hour or so.
Never been to one of these if you couldn’t already tell 🤣

For the ones that don’t say anything about booking you can just turn up. You may or may not be able to turn up half way through that would depend on the group. Some will be full - I went to one and they had to turn people away. Some may not want people turning up half way through. Or you may be able to.
I’d say go to them on time to start with and then you’ll get to know the group and will have an idea of the above

It depends what it is, if it's aimed at toddlers too, you'll probably be fine, if it's baby sensory or the sort you book in advance for, you might be interrupting the flow.

With a 6mo it's fine not to attend the full session as it is often a bit much for them at that age and not all babies nap easily wherever they are.

I'd definitely drop in for the non booked ones. For the call to book, it may be that it costs them to run the session so they only run it if they know people will turn up.

If it's a stay and play type one, you can just go as and when.

If it's a structured class like a music class, but no booking is required you can go any week that you want, but probably couldn't turn up halfway through (although you can always call and ask).

If it's a termly, booking class then you need to book for a term at a time (although obviously you don't actually have to go to every one, but you'll have to pay for every one).
