Someone told me that the new guidlines in the uk were to stop steralising at 6 months.. Apparantly this is what dshe was told by her health visitor.. Ment to ask mine today but forgot.

I normally do to a year.. but once crawling if a bottle isnt steralised, I dont panic.

So is it still advised to do up to 12months or 6months?

TIAx

the guidelines I have seen still say 1 year for bottles and teats:

e.g. Babycentre

I just stuck them in dishwasher from 6 months as that I believe does the same thing.

Free yourself, you don't need to sterilise at all

I was advised 6 months for everything bar bottles which are going to be kept, but frankly my housekeeping is shoddy so I sterilised until 9 or 10 months.
