Any ideas?

Super quick one:

My now 7 month old use to go down straight away for bed and now screams and kicks up a fuss the second I put him down at night. Daytime naps haven't changed as he goes down for them perfectly fine.

He's not teething, hungry or uncomfortable. I haven't changed anything about his usual routine.

Any suggestions as to why he's being difficult as I'm at my wits end :(

(Note: could just be coincidence, but this started happening the same day my FIL moved in with us and I have since been overly stressed having to put him up as he's rather difficult to live with.)

Hmm I don't think it's a coincidence. I reckon it's a big life change and he's experiencing a bit of separation anxiety because of it.

I'm not the best person to give advice as I don't always put my own sleep and sanity first... But in your position I would do whatever necessary to provide that comfort he needs for now. If that's cuddling to sleep then so be it.

Maybe he’s a bit chilly? My 4mo has been taking longer to get settled the last few days, but as soon as I put a blanket on him he drops off quite quickly
