Hi everyone my son just started P1 he got to know another boy just before school started (didn't know anyone else) and I got chatting with his mum. We arranged a few playdates etc so they had a familiar face on day one etc. My son thinks of him as his friend however the other boy has been shouting and pushing and when he asks to play he apparently always says no, when my son has retaliated he told on him, my son has woke up this morning quite upset, I have told him to play with the other boys and girls and not to bother with this boy in particular, I know kids will be kids but do I say anything to the mum or does this make things awkward. I am not actually sure what I am looking for here and I suppose I have many years of this kind of thing but I can't help but feel for him and just want to hug him and keep with me.
