2.5yo and contact allergies

Hi I’m just wondering how concerned I should be about a suspected contact allergy? My little boy first had a contact rash with eggs when he was first weaning, he’s fine with anything with eggs in (eg cake), it’s just if solely eggs touches his face he gets a mild rash where they touched, no other symptoms.

He’s recently started having a similar rash around his mouth with other foods but only some days not always, but I actually can’t tell whether it’s the food on his skin that’s doing it or if it’s me wiping the food off with a baby wipe. The rash looks like little dots and it’s sporadic, it’s only it random places (I suspect where food has been on his skin).

The rash looks like lots of tiny tiny dots and they come and go on their own accord and he shows no other symptoms.

I’m ringing my HV on Monday but anyone have any experience with this sort of thing - will he grow out of it? I’m kind to worried I might not be taking it as seriously as I should.
