Has anyones husband had a vasectomy? And if so did you wait on the NHS or go private.

I was wondering what the wait times are and if you went private how much it cost.

TIA

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I had one done years ago . NHS did it for free and it was booked in and done very quickly. My advice to you though is don’t do it . Worst thing ever to do . I wanted more children a while after and discovered the cost of reversing it is £3000 + . Chances of success depend on the person . Mine worked and I now have 3 more beautiful boys . Use other contraception and keep your options open .

Husband did about 10 months ago. The wait was less than 4 weeks.

My DH had it via the NHS last year. I remember being very pleasantly surprised at how quick the wait time was between requesting and getting it (talking a matter of months).
