(re)introducing a bottle at 5+ months

DD took a bottle for the first month or two before developing a bottle aversion. We tried everything for a couple months before I decided to quit my job and stay home to breastfeed, at which point we gave ourselves a break with trying the bottle. DD is now 5 months. I tried the bottle again yesterday as well as a soft spout sippy cup. She just chewed on both (same as her binky - she started refusing a binky around the same time as the bottle, and when I tried the binky a few days ago she decided it was a teether). Anyone have success introducing or reintroducing a bottle this late in the game? Or does anyone have suggestions on what to do when the baby is chewing the bottle nipple/sippy cup? Maybe an open cup is the solution since she's nearing 6 months - anyone have success with their baby drinking from an open cup well enough around this age that they could drink from the open cup exclusively? I'd appreciate any thoughts. If I can get this sorted out I might be able to get back to work.
