Dry skin recommendations?

I'm back again for some mumsnet advice

3 month old has really dry skin on his forehead /top of his head. Not sure if it's eczema- I think it is just dry flakey skin. I'm not sure why and will speak to my GP at his jabs Friday but just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for what to use

He is sucking the crap out of his hands at the moment so want to be careful with what I'm using on him

Eucerin oil wash is the best thing I have ever used for dry sensitive skin. It is amazing stuff

We use flexitol very dry skin cream, it’s basically urea cream like eucerin. We found it really good for eczema, childs farm is supposed to be good too but we haven’t tried it yet.

If it’s forehead and top of head it could be cradle cap rather than traditional eczema, try mild cradle cap shampoos to see if it gradually clears up.

If it’s eczema then don’t use Aveeno or other food based creams till you’ve weaned onto the included ingredient. Eucerin etc a good shout but it can be trial and error to see what suits.
