Coparenting relationship breaking down

Hi everyone,

I have been coparenting with my daughters dad for the past year without any major issue until now.

long story short, he has recently started dating someone new, she hates me and is successfully breaking down our coparenting relationship.

I am the resident parent, my ex lives in a shared house so unable to have her stay with him but he sees her very regularly.

he pays maintenance to me every month. However, as things have got a bit dicey he's been threatening not to pay as much (he's saying he can't afford it anymore. But he can afford to take his new gf and her kid out every week 🙃)

can anyone tell me what the cms process is to go through?
I know they can get maintenance court ordered but would they do this at this stage? He is still paying but really dragging his feet about it and I don't want to be unprepared if / when he does stop paying.

thanks

Just message him that he either pays the cms legally required amount by standing order each month or you will be forced to use the cms and do a collect and pay I think they charge an added amount to the nrp on top. He is leaving you with very little choice, give him the 2 options and it's then his choice.

The thing is the relationship seems to go through phases, so atm things are good and he's paying but I know if I do anything he perceives to be wrong things will get hostile again.
I'm trying not to annoy him and I know saying anything about taking it to the CMS will really piss him off and I don't want to put myself in a position where he stops paying and I've not even started the process.
can I start the process without his knowledge or will they get in touch with him do you know?

They get in touch with him after you have asked them for help usually via phone call as other poster said you can go the collect and pay route if he doesn't make his payments regularly and debt build they take him to court he has legal obligation to pay his maintenance
