So he's 3 years and 5 months old. And he is always sick. Just since his birthday he's has covid , then straight away hit by a cold, then influenza, another cold , gastro and the list goes on. And then he got got hit with covid again and a cold straight after that. Is this normal , I'm so worried for him , he doesn't get as sick as he used to so generally he handles it pretty well. But I'm worried. Any advice , would love to hear.

Also I'm relatively new here and only posted once months and months ago. So I don't know if I've picked the correct category for this post.

Let me know.

I know some preschool age children can be more susceptible to illness than others, but it sounds like your LO needs an immune system boost. Have you considered vitamin supplements?

That's where my knowledge on this ends as my DC weren't really like this. Hope you can get him sorted x

I'm sorry if I missed it, but is he in nursery/childcare?

If so - childhood germs are RIFE, I remember DD at that age, she was ill more than she was well.

I worried about it too - but now at 6yo, she has a heroic immune system.

My two year old started nursery in April and it’s been pure hell. We recently had a two month break of good health and I had forgotten what normal life could be like! I too was worried something was up with him but I think lockdowns really affected immunity and Covid really knocks them.
